Do I need a visa to visit Sri Lanka?
Yes. Most travellers need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before arriving. It’s a quick online process and usually takes 1–2 days for approval.
When is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka has two monsoon seasons, so the best time depends on where you’re going.
- South & West: December to April
- East Coast: May to September
What is the local currency, and can I use credit cards?
The currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). Major hotels and restaurants accept cards, but carry cash for small shops and local markets.

Is food included in your tours?
Most day tours don’t include meals, but we can recommend great places to eat. For multi-day tours, breakfast is usually included.
Do you offer tours in other languages?
Yes, we can arrange guides who speak languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Chinese on request.
Will I have mobile coverage and internet access?
Yes. Mobile coverage is widely available, and you can buy a local SIM at the airport. Most hotels and restaurants offer Wi-Fi.
What should I pack for a trip to Sri Lanka?
Lightweight clothing, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and modest clothes for temples. A light jacket is recommended for hill country areas.

Some entrance fees are included, depending on the package. We’ll clearly list what’s covered in your chosen tour. Custom packages can include or exclude these based on your preference.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons.
